Methodology
- Menus read from Wolt's public restaurant pages for Sofia without logging in: every restaurant the public venue lists returned for six points across the city, one snapshot a week.
- Each item is put in a dish category from the restaurant's own menu section (in Bulgarian or English), else from its name, by a fixed keyword table; cutlery and packaging lines are dropped.
- Only available items with a price count. A category needs at least 10 restaurants to be shown (0 smaller categories hidden).
- Prices in EUR (Bulgaria uses the euro since 2026-01-01) as listed on the menu, before delivery fees and promotions at checkout.
Coverage and caveats
- 86.3% of priced items fall into a category; the rest (combo menus, house specials) are only in the overall median.
- Item sizes differ (a 20 cm and a 36 cm pizza are both "pizza"); medians describe the menu, not a fixed basket.
- Restaurants not delivering to our six points on the day are not in the sample. Restaurant names are not published.
